It is not an organised day trip and does not include transportation between the two archaeological sites. The visits are separate, and you can choose the available dates for each experience during the booking process. This makes the combination particularly suitable if you want to dedicate enough time to both archaeological sites without having to visit them on the same day. ## Guided tour of Paestum The Paestum visit lasts approximately **2 hours** and includes priority admission to the Archaeological Park. With a specialist guide, you will discover the history of ancient Poseidonia and its later transformation into Roman Paestum. The tour includes the famous Greek temples, including the **Temple of Neptune, Temple of Athena and Temple of Hera**, traditionally known as the Basilica. Walk through the streets of the ancient Roman city and discover some of its most important public buildings, houses and monuments while learning about everyday life before the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. The Pompeii tour includes a headset to make it easier to hear the guide during the visit. ## How the booking works A single booking gives you access to both experiences. During the booking process, you can select the available dates for Paestum and Pompeii separately. After payment, you will receive the tickets and instructions for each visit by email.
